This month’s new and some of our favorite gluten free food at Trader Joe’s and all of my tips and inspiration for meal planning. Check out this week’s Trader Joe’s gluten free grocery haul below and let me know what your favorite gluten free items are in the comments!
- Vegan Creamy Dill Dressing – a good alternative to ranch dressing
- Kohlrabi Vegetable Pasta – A subtle, crunchy root vegetable that goes with any dressing or sauce + add your favorite protein
- Gluten free Cheese Ravioli – For a quick and easy meal, I added marinara sauce, chicken meatballs (see below), zucchini, parmesan cheese and shreddedmozzarella cheese, and dinner was ready in less than 10 minutes!
- Chicken Meatballs (fully cooked) – Goes well with pasta, or stand alone with the perfect BBQ sauce + sweet potato fries and a leafy green salad
- GoMacro Macrobar Oatmeal Chocolate chip – A good mid-morning or afternoon snack and isn’t as sweet as most bars out there
- Cacio E Pepe Puffs – Because it’s worth a try! Perfect for serving when you have company over
- Organic Green Vegetable Foursome – I always have a bag or 2 of frozen vegetables in the freezer for the days I run out of fresh produce. It’s a really good alternative for when you need to prep dinner in a hurry!
- Mini Cheesecake Cones – These are on the sweeter side, so I usually split one with my hubs, but they’re SO good!
- Cheese Empanadas with Cassava Crust – The whole family is into it and all you have to do is throw it in the oven for 25-30 minutes. I don’t follow the instructions, because they still end up underbaked, so I cook mine at 425F degrees for 25-30 minutes and they’re perfect. I highly recommend dipping it into their pre-made chimichurri sauce.
- Corn & Cheese Arepas – These are definitely on the sweeter side and would be better prepared as a dessert dish rather than a savory dish. Pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and you’ll have a Filipino favorite – maiz con hielo! 😉
- Uncured Pepperoni Pizza – Another easy meal to prepare if you need dinner in a hurry. I usually pair this with a hearty leafy green salad.
- Truffle Aioli – I just made deviled eggs and added this to the mix and it was so easy and super good! Add this to your sandwiches, wraps, or fries and you can’t go wrong.
DON’T FORGET!
